Keyemup Entertainment Group, Inc. (KEG) is a production and recording company for young talents in the genres of Hip Hop and R&B to Rap, Neo Soul, Rock, Pop, Country and Christian music. Our Company brings together Chicagoland's newest and brightest singers, rappers, songwriters and producers to create the pioneering sound of Keyemup Entertainment Group, Inc.

KEG is committed to its talent and to its mission of providing superior  sound in a cost-effective  manner. Typically entertainment companies spend more money on production than marketing and promotion. KEG's self-sustaining method, which uses a proven team of experienced and resourceful producers, ensures optimal results for minimal cost. Most of KEG's recordings will be produced at our local facilities.

Music industry experts have described independent labels as 'the lifeblood of the business". Independents accounted for more than 28% of the industry's market share as of 2004 without large budgets for project production and marketing. Independents had to become more skilled at establishing successful music catalogues. The first crucial factor is to assemble a group of talented artists-songwriters, and producers, dedicated to producing superior music. The use of in house talents helps to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient production. Independents must grow and maintain our catalogues to provide streams of revenue. We cannot rely on the occasional "big hit' for support of our operations.

Merchandising

Vast opportunities focused on artist and products in concert venues and retail operations will provide a lucrative profit center for KEG and its artist. Merchandising strategies will be coordinated with advertising agencies and public relations firms. As the artist's reputation increases, such opportunities will become more readily available. Internet sales of merchandise and music will allow for a higher profit margin as well as a joint advertising opportunity for CD releases. Combined with sponsorship from iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon Music, our artist will gain additional market exposure. As we move further into the digital age, digital distribution must be considered as a viable revenue stream. Each year more singles and full-length CD sells at the platinum level and beyond.

Most of KEG's production will take place at our local facilities in the Chicagoland area. Mixing facilities in other locations such as New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles might be utilized when it is cost effective.

KEG also plans to cater to a variety of services, including video production, motion picture production, visual effects and animation, editing, photography and design to its artist and eventually, to its clients.

KEG has produced recordings and showcases for a host of the nations luminaries such as Usher, Avant, Carl Thomas (former Bad Boy artist), Lupe Fiasco, Smokey Norful, Jesse Campbell and Men at Large and Major Record Companies like Geffen Records, Atlantic Records , Universal Records and EMI.
